In the episode last week, we saw the five candidates compete in the CV review There will only be three people who will go through the next stage an interview with the CEO of Gotosovie Who are they? Let the interview room begin Hello.. How was the lunch? Are you nervous or excited? Both mixed, What’s your expectation? I hope everyone got accepted From the interview after CV review, the time has come Out of the five candidates, five of you, we will choose three as our leading candidates. The names that I’ll mention will go through the next process
For those who haven’t succeeded today, don’t be disappointed. Please use the tips we’ve given on your next CV and applications Your opportunities are everywhere. Okay? Ready? /
Ready The first name I’ll call and come with me to the next process is.. Congratulations for Flora [handclaps] I’m very happy. I didn’t expect that I’ll pass this stage And then, the second one..

Congratulations to Dhea! [hand claps] /
Thank you.. Of course, I’m very happy. I’m grateful because I can be one of the three best candidates I also didn’t expect this because I felt I didn’t give my best on the CV review Last but not least.. Who is it gonna be?? Last but not least is.. Tata
[hand claps] I couldn’t believe it because I wasn’t performing well at the interview, but I got to the next step Okay, for the others, thank you for your time today.

I hope we can meet again next time.
Thank you.. Thank you.. I’m a bit disappointed because I couldn’t pass with the others I’ll hang in there because not everyone can pass to the next stage, there will be some better candidates. In my case, I failed because of my CV. Apparently, my CV is still very lacking, and I just realised how important a CV is. I’ll fix my CV to be better and more efficient, hoping it’ll be accepted by HR I’ll fix my CV and get more experience in the related field Hello everyone..

walaikumsalam.. How was it? Seems like you’re all calmer now because the hardest part has passed.
[laughing] But again, congratulations for whichever reason you were chosen among all of the other candidates. Finally, you’re all standing here for the next process. We will give you a few questions, maybe more horrid, more technical, yet still relaxed Let’s introduce each other. This is Mr Dwi Suko, we usually call him Mr Andi, as the CEO and the founder of Gotosovie The first question..

What are your weaknesses and strengths? I’m used to working under pressure . Like you might have seen before, I adapt fast. I get friendly with people easily. I have problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and I don’t get panicked easily. I think those are important when we have a case, and I think I have those skills My weakness.. to be honest, I’m forgetful. But I found a way to get around my weakness. I usually use notes. Now there are a lot of apps I can use, Google Calendar, memos. I usually write notes on my memo Flora, there are many kinds of customers and clients, might be our followers or a collaboration client, please tell us your favourite experience related with this customer My favorite is engagement. For example, when they leave positive comments or feedback Why is it, for us social media people, important to reply in real-time? When people ask questions or complaints, we have to respond fast. Why do you think it’s important? That is a crucial factor, right? Yes, correct / Why? First of all, the customer is our priority because we sell our products to them.

Whatever comes from the customer is something we have to pay attention to. For example, when a customer complains, it’ll help our company to evolve through the problem they’re having. We’ll have to find a solution to the problem to fulfill their expectation. To be honest, my heart was thumping because there were three people in the interview. We were all standing at the front and expected to answer quickly. Oh my god Why is storytelling skill important? What is the storytelling skill needed by a social media specialist? Okay..I think storytelling skill is important because as I’ve observed and learnt, social media is one of the media that makes things viral easily, That’s by selling stories.

For example, if you meet a homeless person, and someone decides to post him on IG story; telling stories about him, for me, it’s like selling a story. It’ll go viral because it attracts sympathy. I think why storytelling and copywriting are important because it can affect how people think For Flora, what do good design and content look like? The simple one, but easily makes people attracted. Say, we’re selling a product, and people are engaged; “oh I want to buy that”. That’s how good design is for me Okay, I like the word “engagement”. I have a technical question I hope you understand; it’ll be a plus point. How many percent is it? When people see and click or comment, how many percent is it?
That’s considered good?
How many for you? There’s no right or wrong, I just want you-
From that word engagement, please.. Maybe more than 50%? 50% is considered good? / Yes In the next stage, we will know more about these three candidates, to bring out their potential when they’re facing a challenge I’ll give you 2 minutes to speak about innovation As someone handling social media who will communicate directly to the clients, who will sell products to the client, the keyword ‘innovation’ is very important for the company to market their products.

I think if a company keeps selling their products with the same pattern, a routine, the customers might get bored because there’s no innovation.
Here, innovation can be used What does a social media specialist need to do to not go beyond the brand? Because I think brands tend to become a character for us. How to not cross the line? I think, to not cross the line, we have to hold onto our characteristics. For example, we’re selling something; we have to be consistent with what we’re selling from the start. Like an image we’re building for the customers, we have to keep it Dhea, if we’re using social media to sell products; like Instagram feeds, how is it supposed to be that the customer will be interested in us? I think it depends on the content pillar. In making IG feeds, there’s a thing called the content pillar where we have our own portions. In one week, we can post our product that’s aesthetically photographed. Just the product And in the next week, we’ll post content where a beautiful model wears our product, with good visual, eye-catching content We also can make memes that use bags, or other interesting memes.

Also, education content on how to choose a good bag color for Mondays, or on rainy days. I think a good feed depends on the content pillar, and we can plan our own; with a visual, model, etc They gave each of us a case randomly, then we answered based on our knowledge Why should we choose you in this division as a social media specialist intern? First of all, because I have quite enough knowledge. Maybe the others were learning halfway, but I took many classes, and I think it’s not easy to achieve that. We had months of training, tests, and I think I got my knowledge from there. The second one, you can see the proof on Instagram, Tiktok, and other platforms I built those are my portfolio and proof that I have skills. I hope my experience and my hobby as a content creator, especially in lifestyle, and also all the certificates I have can be utilized in Gotosovie I had experience in a few companies.

Theoretically and practically, I’m prepared to work in real-time. Maybe I can settle more easily in Gotosovie. Plus, I have the same passion as Gotosovie, in the fashion industry .
I like fashion, and maybe I can give ideas for Gotosovie in the future. Because I have experience working in social media, especially in copywriting and making captions I believe with that experience I can develop myself to learn more to engage followers and attract customers to buy Gotosovie’s products. In Gotosovie I hope I can keep learning to develop myself.

Okay, thank you guys for the answers. Good answers, and thank you for your time. We’ll discuss a bit, and we’ll decide who is the best candidate in this interview room. Before we continue, these are the winners who answered correctly on the previous episode! You will get 300k e-wallet credit for 3 winners.
Congratulations to the winner, and for those who are not lucky, please wait for the next quiz session. Okay / How is it? / How about the three? Tata, Dhea, Flora Okay, for me, technically I like the middle one, her character seems like a fire.

That’s what is good from her, but also there’s a minus. Usually, she’ll be lacking in analytics
That one is more analytical. the right one is being too careful I think; a very cautious character. I think my preference leans to these two in the middle. How about you both? I think, minus point for Dea is, her personality is too self-centered. It might be a problem if she has to work in a team because she wants to be the main attraction. For Tata, her technicality isn’t as good as Dea's, but we can teach her. Her personality is better. This girl doesn’t seem like she’s into social media too much, not too passionate Dea fits more as a salesperson although her skill is good, especially with the workshops she joined Then, Tata, she’s more chill.

She has basic skills, not as good as Dhea. She can work in a team because the way she communicates is more relaxed. She knows if there’s a problem, and she knows how to solve it Comparatively, who will show their skill better for the team? This one or this one? Any guesses from the first interview? More motivating, maybe this one More encouraging to other people in the team If we want someone who's ready to run, I’ll pick her. Her skill is good / Really good, and we can let her be. She doesn’t need to be supervised, maybe only once or twice, and then she can be on her own We saw everyone was performing well. Everyone has their own merits; in analytical, workflow, or capability in social media.

Today, we’ll choose one that fits with Gotosovie’s culture; the ability to work in a team. We have one that we can put in a team, and we’ll see the result Please come in / finally.. Okay, we’ve reviewed the feedback from Tata, Flora, and Dhea This time, we’ll announce who the best candidate will be chosen among the three of you. Who will it be? Okay, I’ll count down.. 1…2…..3….. Tata..! [hand claps] To be honest, I didn’t expect this. I was very nervous. I answered the questions as best as I could, but I think it wasn’t good enough, probably because of my nervousness The others are also very good Thank you to everyone who participated in this event I didn’t expect to get the honor, I didn’t expect to come this far.

Everyone was good today! I’m actually a bit disappointed, but it’s okay. I’ll take it as a lesson to be better in the future Such a shame I didn’t win. Maybe there is still a lot I should fix; my CV, interview attitude, body language, the way to answer the questions Disappointed, yes, but I’m still glad that I got to this stage My plan is to sharpen my skills and get more experience through online courses.

I’ll continue my online course. Like Dhea’s experience, an online course really helps. I want to explore from that side too I think the three candidates have potential, but when we’re facing a user, it’s better to do research and prepare to be calmer. So that we can anticipate and know what to say when we’re answering questions. There’s nothing wrong in doing some research on some questions to practice That’s it. Stay calm, confident, and don’t look arrogant in front of the users The competition continues! Which positions do you want to see in the next Interview Room? Write in the comments below! Stay tuned!
