Air conditioners have always been popular, but they used to be pricey to buy and expensive to operate. These days they are cheaper to buy. It is not so bad if you live somewhere where you require heating for three months and cooling for three months, but if you live somewhere where you need one unit or other running twenty-for hours a day, seven days a week, it is still costly.
However, the comfort that they give to your life is remarkable. But, the thing to bear in mind is that air conditioners, like all pieces of equipment, do require servicing. That is, the actual moving parts, lubricants and other fluids need to be checked professionally every two years (or whatever it says in your instruction manual). There are other parts though that have to be checked far more frequently than that – maybe even monthly. more…

The word balding does not get used as much today but hair loss is primarily a genetic trait which members of the same family suffer although there are other factors involved, it may take quite a while for science to find a genetic cure to the problem. Generally male or female pattern baldness or hair loss is inherited although only gene therapy can help with it but this is not the only reason for balding. Hair follicles on certain areas of the man’s head are more likely to be affected by increased male sex hormone as they get older and the hair follicles in these areas suffer from what could be considered an overdose of hormones.
This is the real cause of hair loss and normally lies with hormonal problems and occurs when male or female hormones (androgens and estrogens) are out of balance. An imbalance of hormones is usually a genetic trait that as of yet, cannot be cured. more…

You may be confused by the big rubber balls you see in gyms. You know they are for some form of exercise, but you never actually see people using them or know why they are so critical for a good ab work out. An abs exercise ball is firstly of a softer material than the floor so it will make it more comfortable for you to work out. You will also be able to switch up your work out routine in a very new way and use muscles you have not been able to target.
The floor is still a good and common place to work out, since not everything can be done on a ball. The ball’s safety should be matched when working on the floor, though. Do this by getting a rubber floor mat. Balls absorb a lot of shock and cushion your spine or stomach. For this reason, you can get a much better work out because it is safer and your are able to concentrate more instead of just wondering when you can stop. more…
